Darci Madlung Art

Darci Madlung is a multidisciplinary visual artist inspired by colour and materials. She received a Bachelors Degree in Environmental design and Masters of Interior Design from the University of Manitoba. Born in the mountains, Darci was lucky to be inspired by local artists and nature. Her work includes painting and sculpture in a variety of mediums, collaborative public art projects and teaching in-studio & off-site workshops and kids art camps. She is skilled at incorporating reclaimed and under-utilized materials in her artwork and teaching practice. She is an active member of the Manitoba Craft Council and was a selected artist for 2021, 2022, and 2023 ‘Illuminate the Night’. She also collaborated with ‘Patent 5 Distillery’ an installation art for Nuit Blanche 2024. She has worked with Exchange District Biz and Osborne Village Biz and continues to make art from a studio space in the historic Exchange District where she can share her creativity with art lovers of all ages.
